Reporting to the Senior Financial Performance Partner, you will play a lead role in providing high-quality financial insight and support to senior managers across the University Group. You will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and driving improvements in financial processes and management information.In this role you will contribute to the preparation of monthly accounts and quarterly forecasts accurately to meet the timely deadlines. You will review financial, business and delivery variances across the business, taking into account the business risk factors materiality and revenue recognition principles.You will support your business areas in preparing estimates and budgets, along with end of year financial data to meet business deadlines, accurately and in line with business deadlines. Our Successful CandidateYou will hold a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or the equivalent experience in a similar role.Your previous experience will be in financial or management accounting, which will include budget preparation, management accounting and project costing. Experience using Agresso would be advantageous.You will be competent in using Microsoft Office, with a particular understanding of Outlook, and Word, with excellent working knowledge of Excel.
