Sales Executive - Permanent role - Newcastle Upon Tyne - up to 29,700 per annum base (dependent on experience) + commission If you would like to know a bit more about this opportunity, or are considering applying, then please read the following job information.We are looking for a Software Sales executive to join a client based in Newcastle - this is an office-based role. The role focuses on building strong client relationships, understanding customer needs, and presenting suitable products or services to achieve sales targets.Key responsibilities and deliverables: Actively seek out and generate new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and proactive outreach.Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns, running qualified meetings and identifying their needs and priorities.Prepare and arrange appropriate demonstrations on products and services, producing accurate quotations and details.Negotiate/close deals and handle any complaints or constructive feedback from clients.Create quotations for clients with accurate information and pricingGather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teamsMaintain sales case records to the highest standards using the in-house CRM systemDemonstrate strong understanding of product features, limitations, and integrationsMatch customer needs to technical capabilitiesSupport or deliver product demos and trialsComplete and handle technical parts of proposals and questionnaires accurately and on timeAct as the bridge between technical teams and customers ensuring clear communication both waysEnsure smooth transition to delivery/onboarding teams with full and accurate documentationUnderstand security, data privacy, and compliance requirements in all engagements and maintain awareness of any changesParticipate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences if requiredEssential skills and experience: Experience in B2B telesales (lead gen, qualification, closing)Strong customer service and sales skillsBuilds effective relationships with customers and colleaguesAccurate CRM and internal record keepingAwareness of project budgeting and working within limitsEfficiently tracks and manages case/project progressTo be able to monitor the progress of cases and projects in an efficient and effective manner.Have a positive work ethic with a can-do attitude and a strong desire to complete tasks.What will make you successful in this role?Strong communication - clear speaking, active listeningPersuasion skills - able to influence and handle objections and challengesCustomer focus - builds trust and understands needsResilience - handles setbacks and stays motivatedGoal-driven mindset - meets targets and KPIsProduct knowledge - understands what they're selling and the marketProblem-solving skills - adapts solutions to customer needsEmotional intelligence - builds rapport and manages relationships wellDamia Group Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
