Youll create clear, engaging content; look after our internal channels, provide corporate events support and work with teams across the business to bring The Bernicia Effect, Supporting Opportunity Corporate Strategy 2026-2031 to life. This is a brilliant opportunity to make a real difference in a purpose-driven organisation.Your Experience:Successful candidates will need:Essential:Educated to degree level or equivalent work experienceHold a communications related qualificationEvidence of continuing professional development in communicationsDemonstrable experience working in a communications roleProven ability in content creation and managing multiple channelsConfident using content management systems, analytics tools and digital marketing methodsGood all-round writing ability and be able to identify and use the most appropriate and effective ways of communicating to diverse internal audiencesPeople person, able to establish rapport and build strong working relationshipsTeamworking, making a positive contribution to help teams meet goalsAbility to advise and influence people on communications.Desirable:Experience of working in the housing sectorExperience of delivering internal communications/colleague engagement activitiesAbout usWere all about helping people in need of housing.
