The Staffing Network are a national labour provider and are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our successful client based in the Oxford area. Our client who specialises in Waste Management is transforming waste into valuable resources and lessening its impact on the environment.Increase your chances of an interview by reading the following overview of this role before making an application.Successful candidates may be assigned to various sites within the area.Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe right person will be responsible for driving the refuse lorry and assisting loaders with collecting/emptying bins from residential premises, returning them where necessary, and ensuring all additional work and missed bins are completed.A minimum 6 months experience in HGV Class 2 driving is essential.Drive and operate a Class 2 dustcart, refuse lorry, or bin lorryCollect refuse from a different local area each day of the weekEnsure completion of all additional work and missed binsAssist with manually moving domestic wheelie binsMaintain awareness of other vehicles or people on the road and operate the lorry xjdpvnf safelyRequirementsUK HGV Class 2 driving licence (minimum 12 months)Digital tachograph card & CPC cardGood team working skills and good communication skillsAbility to adapt quickly to a fast-paced, dynamic work environmentPrevious experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage
