Monday to Friday NGS Groundworks & Surfacing are looking for enthusiastic Civils Operatives with NRSWA qualifications who will be required to perform excavations, repairs and re-reinstatements, installation of ducting, chambers, the installation of draw rope on telecoms infrastructure located within the public highway and customers premises using up to date client standard operating procedures and in full compliance to current legislation, health and safety requirements and company policies. Clear blockages in the highway and reinstate to industry standard ensuring all information and photos are captured on company supplied assets i.e. phone or tablet Install new draw rope to customer's connection point following installation of duct works and boxes. Support daily completion of required apps for the workstream (risk assessments, permit to dig & van, tools and plant checks) Experience of risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on health and safety requirements and responsibilities Be responsible for the company assets and plant assigned to you for the purpose of performing your duties Be able to carry out strenuous physical activity Experience in a similar operational or utilities environment within the telecommunications industry Confined spaces Ability to work with minimum supervision Telecoms Industry knowledge is essential Hold a full UK drivers license NRSWA, CSCS, CPCS, PIA Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Employee discount On-site parking Referral programme Store discount Monday to Friday NRSWA Driving Licence (required) Job Type: Full-time Work Location: Hybrid remote in Glastonbury BA6 8NH
