Isle of Wight - Leisure SiteSalary:40,423 per year 34,531 per year About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead facilities operations at a large leisure site on the Isle of Wight. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the site is safe, clean, compliant, and well-maintained, while delivering a positive experience for guests and colleagues.Reporting to the Regional Facilities Manager and working closely with the General Manager, you will oversee maintenance, housekeeping, contractors, and statutory compliance, while creating a strong, motivated facilities team.Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Site StandardsMaintain excellent standards of safety, cleanliness, and presentation across the siteEnsure guest accommodation, buildings, and grounds are maintained to a high standardRespond promptly and professionally to guest queries, issues, and feedbackCoordinate maintenance works with minimal disruption to guestsEnsure activity and leisure facilities are safe, compliant, and ready for useHealth, Safety & ComplianceEnsure full compliance with statutory regulations, health & safety requirements, and internal policiesCarry out regular site inspections to identify and resolve risksMaintain accurate documentation, certifications, and audit recordsSupport legal, safety, and environmental standards across the siteTeam Leadership & OperationsLine manage facilities, maintenance, housekeeping teams, and on-site contractorsBuild a positive team culture focused on quality, safety, and teamworkOrganise rotas, daily inspections, housekeeping schedules, and deep cleaning programmesHold regular 1:1 meetings to support performance, wellbeing, and developmentPlanning, Budgets & CollaborationManage CapEx and OpEx budgets with strong cost controlCoordinate procurement of equipment and suppliesReport performance and site issues to the Regional Facilities ManagerSupport emergency planning, centre projects, and senior leadership activityAbout YouProven experience in facilities, estates, or building managementConfident xjdpvnf managing teams and external contractorsStrong working knowledge of health & safety and compliancePractical, organised, and solution-focusedCustomer-focused with strong problem-solving skillsComfortable working in a busy, guest-facing leisure environmentFlexible and adaptable to operational changeWhat We OfferCompetitive salary with live-on accommodation optionOpportunity to work at a unique leisure site location on the Isle of WightA leadership role with autonomy and varietySupportive environment with scope for developmentBlue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
