This position requires adherence to all federal, state, and local transportation regulations, including Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines. Drivers perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in safe operating condition, maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation, and report any mechanical issues promptly. Responsibilities include loading and unloading cargo as needed, securing freight to prevent damage, and planning efficient routes to meet delivery schedules.
