This field-based role supports system performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction through hands-on technical expertise.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform startup, commissioning, and functional testing of BAS/DDC systems Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC controls and automation systems Execute preventative maintenance and implement system upgrades or modifications Perform programming adjustments, system configuration, and point-to-point checkout Work with BAS protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, LON, and IP-based networks Respond to service calls, including occasional after-hours support Collaborate with customers, contractors, and internal teams to complete projects Maintain accurate service documentation and ensure safe work practices Success MetricsTimely resolution of service calls and system issues High system uptime and performance reliability Strong customer satisfaction and repeat service opportunities Accurate and complete service documentation Who You AreA hands-on, mechanically and technically inclined problem-solver who enjoys working in the field.
