Prestige Staffing is seeking a Medical Scheduler for a contract to hire role in Sandy Springs, GA. The ideal candidate will have medical appointment scheduling and insurance verification experience. This role starts ASAP.Location: Sandy Springs, GAPay: $19 - 21ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and schedule appointmentsInteract with patients', physicians and other staff, both internal and external, providing timely and responsive informationCoordinate processes and route all paperwork as required to meet physician and facility requirementsInitiate and track medical clearances as required by physicianInitiate authorization for procedures, ancillary services or medical suppliesObtain financial estimate for procedures, ancillary services and medical suppliesDemonstrate courteous and helpfulness toward patients and their familiesMaintains strictest confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA complianceQualificationsMedical TerminologyHigh call volume experience requiredMedical scheduling experience required Competent use of computer systems,Strong organizational and interpersonal sillsExperience with customer serviceFamiliarity with computers and other office equipmentAbility to maintain confidentiality of sensitive informationAbility to prioritize responsibilitiesMust be able to act calmly and effectively in busy or stressful situationsKnowledge of insurance plans and proceduresRequires adherence to all policies and procedures, including standards for safety, attendance, punctuality and personal appearance.Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers and peers.ZR-rep
