The company offers a fast-paced, engineering-driven culture with strong technical progression opportunities for individuals who enjoy solving challenging, real-world problems.This role would suit a Test Design Engineer who thrives in a hands-on environment and is looking to take ownership of complex semiconductor test systems within a growing and ambitious company.The Role: Lead design of semiconductor test hardware including PCB design, circuit design, and FPGA integration Develop test programs, vectors, and automated test solutions across multiple platforms Debug complex multi-layer PCBs, identifying issues such as signal integrity, impedance mismatches, and component failures Perform detailed electrical measurements using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, VNAs, TDR, LCR meters) Drive root-cause analysis, failure investigations, and corrective actions in production environments Support technicians with rework, testing, and debug processes while setting best practices Contribute to yield improvement, failure analysis, and continuous process improvementsThe Candidate: Strong background in electrical engineering with experience in analog, digital, or mixed-signal design Hands-on experience with PCB design, troubleshooting, and complex electronic systems Experience with lab equipment and test/debug methodologies Knowledge of high-speed or RF concepts (signal integrity, crosstalk, impedance control) Experience with LabVIEW or similar test software Background in semiconductor test, ATE, or advanced electronics manufacturing (preferred)Reference Number: BBBH273615To apply for this role or for to be considered for further roles, please click "Apply Now" or contact Tiernan Conlon at Rise Technical Recruitment.
