An industrial manufacturing company is currently seeking an EHS Specialist to lead its Wenatchee, WA area plant. This company invests heavily into its EHS programs and developed a strong safety culture, as each facility strives to achieve the Zero Incident, Zero Injury initiative. The successful candidate will be expected to work with the workforce on site to promote proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.The Role:Develop and implement an EHS training curriculum and procedures to eliminate injuries and illnesses.Interact with regulatory agencies to maintain compliance with company and government standardsManage relationship with local unionsOversee facility audits and incident investigationsServe as safety expert and primary contact in respect to EHS mattersThe Candidate: 3+ years of EHS experience within a heavy manufacturing environmentExperience and knowledge with ISO 14001 and/or 45001 management systemsStrong leadership skillsExcellent communication and facilitation skillsExperience with EPA regulationsBachelor's degree required
