We are committed to supporting diverse propulsion solutions and meeting the evolving needs of our customers through innovation, quality, and operational excellence.Role DescriptionThe Production Lead is responsible for overseeing and supporting daily production operations to ensure products are assembled and repackaged for shipment in accordance with customer specifications and company quality standards. This role coordinates workflow across multiple production lines, supports team members, enforces safety protocols, and helps drive overall efficiency. The position requires hands-on leadership, strong attention to detail, excellent judgment, and the ability to manage both people and production tasks in a fast-paced environment.Job Duties:Assist in supervising daily production operations to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standardsCoordinate workflow across multiple production lines and rotate team members as neededPrepare and organize parts, materials, and dunnage to support efficient productionMonitor and restock inventory, ensuring FIFO processes are followedPrint, pack, and label outbound shipments according to customer requirementsPerform quality checks on assembled and packaged productsGenerate and submit shift reports including production, safety, and inventory updatesEnforce safety policies and participate in daily/weekly safety discussionsTrain and mentor production employees to improve performance and complianceAssist forklift (Hilo) operators and ensure proper warehouse practicesStep into Production Supervisor responsibilities when neededCollaborate with supply chain to support production planning and schedulingMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentReport maintenance issues and assist with facility upkeep as neededPerform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periodsQualificationsExperience in Production Lead positions, and working efficiently on Production LinesProficiency in Machine Operation and familiarity with production equipmentKnowledge of Quality Control processes to ensure product standards are met and maintainedDemonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changes in production priorities and needsStrong organizational and leadership abilitiesExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailComputer literacy and ability to use Excel at an intermediate levelHigh school diploma or equivalent (required); additional technical training or certifications are a plus
