Senior Human Resources Business PartnerLocation: Columbus, OhioBase Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000Travel: 2-3 days per monthAbout the RoleWorkspire is partnering with a rapidly growing, acquisition-driven manufacturing and infrastructure platform to identify an HR Business Partner based in Columbus, Ohio.This role sits at the center of a high-growth environment, supporting both an established operation and a newly acquired business, with additional acquisitions on the horizon. You'll partner directly with senior leadership and plant teams to build scalable HR processes, support a growing workforce, and help shape the people strategy as the organization continues to expand.This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, close to operations, and part of a business that is actively building.ResponsibilitiesHR Partnership & OperationsServe as the primary HR partnerPartner closely with leadership to align HR initiatives with business needs and growth plansSupport organizational integration efforts tied to recent and upcoming acquisitionsRecruiting & Talent AcquisitionLead full-cycle recruiting efforts for plant and operational rolesPartner with hiring managers on workforce planning and hiring strategyEnsure a strong candidate experience from sourcing through onboardingEmployee Relations & EngagementAct as a trusted resource for employees and managers on workplace mattersSupport investigations, performance management, and employee development conversationsHelp foster a positive, compliant, and performance-driven cultureHR Compliance & AdministrationEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsManage HR processes including I-9s, employee records, and policy adherenceSupport ongoing transition from PEO (TriNet) to a more scalable internal HR infrastructurePayroll, Systems & ReportingSupport payroll processes and ensure accuracy of employee dataMaintain and optimize HR systems and reportingPartner with internal stakeholders to improve HR workflows and data integrityTeam & Process DevelopmentOversee and support a local team member handling HR data entry and administrative tasksContribute to building out future HR infrastructure as the company scalesHelp establish processes that will support projected headcount growth in 2026 and beyondQualifications5-7+ years of progressive HR Generalist or HR Business Partner experienceExperience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or plant environments strongly preferredStrong background in recruiting and talent acquisition for operational rolesFamiliarity with PEO environments (TriNet experience a plus)Working knowledge of payroll processes, HR compliance, and employment lawsAbility to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organizationCompensation & BenefitsBase salary: $100,000 - $130,000Opportunity to grow into expanded HR leadership scope as the company scalesExposure to M&A activity and integration effortsCollaborative, team-oriented environment with strong executive partnershipComprehensive suite of benefits across medical, dental, and vision, generous 401k contribution, PTO, and a great internal cultureWorkspire InsightAt Workspire, we partner exclusively with organizations that value experienced leadership, operational discipline, and long term investment in talent.
