Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced OSP Construction Supervisor to lead the construction and deployment of fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) networks and related infrastructure. This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end construction process and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and in accordance with specifications.The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of hands-on construction expertise, effective communication and coordination skills, and a commitment to quality and community impact. The supervisor will work closely with contractors, utility companies, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment, compliance, and accountability throughout every stage of the build.Key ResponsibilitiesOSP Construction Supervision• Oversee construction of fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) networks, Network Operations Center (NOC) facilities, and wireless infrastructure.• Monitor daily construction activities to ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and quality standards.• Conduct routine field inspections to verify progress, workmanship, and compliance with engineering designs. Safety, Quality & Regulatory Compliance• Enforce job-site safety standards and traffic control requirements.• Ensure construction complies with engineering specifications, local codes, 811 locate requirements, and restoration standards.• Verify aerial and underground utility infrastructure is properly identified, protected, and documented.Contractor & Utility Coordination• Serve as the primary field liaison between construction contractors, utility owners, and internal project teams.• Participate in pre-construction meetings, field walk-throughs, and hub/node placement planning.• Coordinate field activities to minimize delays and maintain project timelines.Field Support & Documentation• Identify and resolve field issues to maintain construction progress.• Support fiber drop installations and respond to customer concerns related to construction activities.• Ensure accurate as-built documentation, field reporting, and mapping updates.Qualifications Education & Certifications• High school diploma or equivalent required.• Fiber splicing certification or OSHA 10/30 safety training is a plus.Experience• Minimum 3 years of experience in telecommunications construction, ideally FTTH.• Familiarity with construction standards and permitting for aerial and underground deployments.Technical Skills• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, splicing schematics, staking sheets, and as-built documentation.• Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite, and mapping software such as ArcGIS, Vetro, or Google Earth.• Knowledge of pole permitting processes, make ready engineering, and coordination with pole owners/utilities.Soft Skills• Strong project coordination and time management skills.• Clear and professional communicator with contractors, clients, and community members.• Adaptability and problem-solving mindset, especially in field environments with evolving needs.Additional Details• Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.• Must be able to travel within the project area
