The Warehouse Operations Lead performs a comprehensive range of duties supporting the daily operations of the Inspection Office and Quality Department. This role is responsible for ensuring that all products are visually inspected, preserved, packaged, labeled, and shipped in strict accordance with customer specifications. This individual will focus on the physical product and distribution side of the business, ensuring high-level throughput and accuracy. Direct HireWorking in officePay $50-65kExcellent benefits offered!Warehouse Lead ResponsibilitiesOperational Organization: Organize all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, storage, order picking, packing, labeling, and outbound shipping. SOP Development: Design, implement, and continuously refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maximize efficiency, accuracy, and throughput. Quality Inspection & Compliance: Conduct visual inspections of all products to ensure 100% compliance with order specifications and verify all necessary procedures for shipped products. Inventory Integrity: Maintain 100% inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, and robust record-keeping systems. Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, on-time shipping, productivity, and labor efficiency; prepare and present regular operational reports as needed. Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve warehouse-related customer issues (shortages, damages, shipping/packaging errors) and assist with implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Process Improvement: Identify and execute process-improvement initiatives, automation opportunities, and standardization activities between locations to enhance performance and reduce costs. Facility Stewardship: Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Inspection Office, warehouse and packing areas to ensure a safe and efficient workflow. Job RequirementsEducation: High School diploma, GED, or greater. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related experience in a quality, inspection, warehouse, or packaging environment. Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work occasional weekends as operational needs dictate. Limited travel may be required.Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking for finding the best method for packaging while following all customer requirements. Technical Literacy: Proficiency in basic computer knowledge and data entry for inventory management and reporting. Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills to document findings and coordinate with team members.
