QP Group are currently partnering with a well-established and growing organisation in the water / wastewater infrastructure space to appoint a Project Manager.This is a business-critical, multi-faceted role supporting the delivery of engineered equipment and system solutions across municipal and commercial projects. It's ideal for someone who enjoys being at the center of operations - balancing technical coordination, customer interaction, and commercial responsibilityThe Opportunity:You'll take ownership of projects from initial enquiry through to delivery, acting as the key liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal teamsThis is not a purely administrative role - you'll be expected to think commercially, solve problems, and keep projects moving.Key Responsibilities:Manage multiple projects simultaneously from RFQ through to completionPrepare and manage quotes, proposals, and technical submittalsInterpret project specifications, drawings, and customer requirementsCoordinate with manufacturers and suppliers on lead times, pricing, and product selectionSupport the outside sales team with project tracking and follow-upsOversee order entry, purchasing, scheduling, and logistics coordinationAct as a point of contact for contractors, engineers, and municipal clientsTroubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution throughout the project lifecycleMaintain accurate records within CRM/ERP systemsWhat We're Looking For:3-10 years' experience in inside sales, project coordination, or project management within a technical or construction-related industryBackground in water/wastewater, pumps, mechanical systems, utilities, or industrial equipment highly preferredExperience working with contractors, engineers, or public sector clients is a strong advantageAbility to read or interpret technical specifications or drawingsStrong commercial awareness (pricing, margins, customer management)Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projectsProactive, solutions-oriented mindsetStrong communication skills (both written and verbal)Ideal Backgrounds May Include:Pump / fluid handling distributors or manufacturers' repsMechanical or industrial equipment suppliersUtility or infrastructure contractorsHVAC, plumbing, or electrical distributorsTechnical inside sales or applications engineering roles
