Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Specialist to assist with a Windows 11 upgrade and desktop imaging refresh across our organization. The ideal candidate will bring over 5 years of hands-on IT support experience, with a strong background in operating system upgrades and desktop deployment processes. This position will be a 4 month long contract and will be on-site 5 days per week in Lewisville, Texas.Key Responsibilities:Lead or support the migration from Windows 10 to Windows 11 across enterprise environmentsEvaluate, update, and troubleshoot desktop imaging processesCollaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth deployment with minimal user disruptionMaintain detailed documentation of procedures and configurationsTroubleshoot hardware and software issues as they arise during upgradesProvide end-user support during and after the upgrade processMust-Have Qualifications:5+ years of IT support or desktop engineering experienceDemonstrated experience with Windows 11 upgrades in enterprise environmentsStrong understanding of desktop imaging and refresh best practicesNice-to-Have Skills:Experience using JIRA for task tracking or IT project managementFamiliarity with Active Directory for user/computer management
