New York, NY (Hybrid)?? $120K-$175K base salary + bonus + employee ownership programUmbilical Advanced is partnering with a long-established, privately-owned global engineering consultancy to hire a Supervising Electrical Engineer - Critical Facilities in New York.This is a senior-level opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer ready to take ownership of complex projects across mission-critical and technically demanding environments.Key Requirements:• PE License required• ~12+ years within MEP consulting/design environments• Strong Data Center / Critical Facilities experience• Experience delivering full lifecycle projects• Prior team leadership or supervisory experience• Strong Revit / CAD capabilityThe RoleYou'll serve as Engineer of Record across a range of complex building projects, leading electrical design delivery from early concept through construction and commissioning.You'll work closely with clients, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams while supporting both technical delivery and project coordination responsibilities.Project exposure includes:• Data Centers & Critical Facilities• Healthcare environments• Commercial developments• Aviation infrastructure• Other technically complex building systemsResponsibilities include:• Leading electrical design delivery across full project lifecycles• Coordinating with clients, contractors, and design teams• Supervising and mentoring engineering staff• Managing technical documentation and reporting• Supporting construction-phase activities including RFIs, field support, and addenda• Assisting with project scheduling, budgeting, and coordination• Acting as a client-facing technical lead on complex projectsWhy join?• Strong pipeline of secured data center and critical facilities projects• Private-owned business with long-term progression opportunities• Exposure to complex, high-profile engineering environments• Opportunity to step into a senior technical leadership position within a growing division??
