Each location is celebrated for its inviting vibe, fresh cuisine, and connection to people, becoming "Your Local Escape."About the role:As an HR Generalist for Georgetown Events, you will be the operational backbone of our people function across our concepts - playing a key role in building the systems that scale our organization while being the trusted HR partner for our field employees. Reporting directly to the Director of HR, this is a hands-on role for someone who thrives at the intersection of structure and people: you will be equally comfortable updating Paycom or providing HR support to an employee in a restaurant. You will operationalize the HR Director's vision while owning the full employee lifecycle- from day-to-day operations to complex employee relations. Salary Range: $65,000 - $72,000 per yearWhat you'll do: Employee Life Cycle Management -Manage end-to-end lifecycle administration in Paycom, from onboarding and benefits enrollment to status changes and offboarding, keeping data clean and workflows consistent across conceptsPeople Operations & Systems-Build and maintain the HR infrastructure that scales with the organization, including policies, SOPs, compliance systemsField Employee Support-Be the bilingual HR support for the field teams, answering day-to-day HR questions and navigating employees through HR processes in the language that works best for themEmployee Relations-Serve as a neutral, trusted resource for Spanish and English speaking employees for HR-related concerns and conducting formal workplace investigations when necessaryCompliance & Risk-Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; implementing and enforcing HR policies and procedures, conducting audits, and helping maintain up-to-date employee handbooksReporting & Metrics-Prepare and analyze HR reports (e.g., compliance, benefits, headcount, turnover) guide leadership decision-makingYou'll Thrive Here If You...Bring full professional fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal)Are equally energized by entering data and building out Paycom workflows as you are guiding an employee through an HR process or difficult conversationHave hands-on HRIS experience (Paycom a plus) and use it to drive consistency, not just complete tasks Understand employment law and compliance well enough to apply it-and know when to escalate Have earned the trust of a field or hourly workforce and know what it takes to keep it Are comfortable in a growing organization where building from scratch is part of the job See shifting priorities as part of the job, and not as a hindrance QualificationsBilingual English / Spanish required -written and verbal5+ years of HR Generalist experience, direct ownership of employee lifecycle management and compliance preferredHands-on HRIS experience, Paycom experience a plus Solid working knowledge of federal, state, and local HR complianceDemonstrated experience building or improving HR policies, SOPs, or compliance programs in a scaling organization, restaurant or retail experience a plus Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business or a related concentration preferredOffice software proficiency; MS Office, Google Workspace, etc.Valid driver's license and ability to travel between field locations as needed
