Based at our site in Sandersville, GA, Imerys is hiring for a Maintenance Supervisor. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow into larger roles at the plant.The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the plant maintenance programs. This includes but is not limited to the planning of work for the Maintenance group, coordinating of breakdown repairs, as well as, development and implementation of the preventive maintenance program. This should include analyzing inspection data and required repairs in order to determine the economics of replacements or repairs.Key Tasks & Responsibilities:Act as a champion for safety for the site, you will lead safety sessions with the workforce. Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.Respond to safety and environmental hazards to eliminate them and maintain compliance with all regulatory agencies.Ensure parts and appropriate tools are available to perform maintenance work.Gather, analyze and interpret data from reliability centered maintenance tools (oil analysis, vibration monitoring, alignment, thermography, etc.)Manage Asset Lists, PM compliance and regulatory schedule via Tabware/SAP CMMSAssist production personnel with identifying system/equipment issues and solutions (trouble-shooting).Supervise implementation of process equipment improvements, work practices and equipment changes which improve productivity and/or enhance equipment availability.Schedule weekly/daily maintenance activities for contractors and maintenance employeesPerform other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:Experience with leading industrial projectsExperience leading/supervising industrial maintenanceAbility to lead & develop teamsExperience with maintenance programs via a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Strong mechanical aptitude and trouble-shooting skillsOne year minimum Supervisory experience. Knowledge of mechanical maintenance processes including preventive/predictive maintenance procedure with understanding of process control concepts and broad range of equipment types.Internal customer focused and proven team member.Ability to work independently and with various levels of personnel.Experience in Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement preferredWork Environment:Plant environment with exposure to varying temperature/humidity and chemicals and process equipment: Office environment-sitting, desk work - 40%; process environment - standing, walking, observing, trouble-shooting - 60%.Lifting up to 50 lbs. - InfrequentCommunicating - verbally/written required - ListeningDuration of work week - typically Mon-Fri; plant and process support to 24/7 operation and must be available for on-call coverage during off hours/weekends/holidays.
