We are partnering with a family-owned food manufacturing client who is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations & Accounting Manager to join their finance team. This role is responsible for managing financial reporting, data analysis, account reconciliations, journal entries, and payment processing.Key ResponsibilitiesLead month-end close, including accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedulesEnsure accuracy of financial reports and resolve discrepancies across key accountsPrepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysesOversee the general ledger and closing activities (monthly, quarterly, annual)Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing and payments (ACH, wires, checks)Ensure GAAP compliance and coordinate external audit activitiesMaintain and analyze standard costing, perform cost variance analysisOptimize financial systems, identify process improvements, and support automationQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum 2 years of public accounting experience (CPA designation preferred)Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reportingProficiency with accounting software/ERP (NetSuite a plus)Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detailStrong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple prioritiesAdaptability and a proactive approach to process improvementHoxton Circle is an equal opportunity employer.
