This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of GAAP. The ideal candidate is a proactive, hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment—preferably with experience in manufacturing, consumer goods, or the food industry.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsPerform general ledger account reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesAssist with month-end and year-end closing processesManage inventory accounting and cost of goods sold (COGS) reconciliationsSupport fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedulesAnalyze variances and trends in financial data and provide recommendationsCollaborate with operations and supply chain teams to align financial reporting with production and inventory managementAssist with internal and external audits, including documentation and testingEnsure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policiesSupport process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance functionQualifications:Bachelor"s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA-track preferred4+ years of accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing or food & beverage industryStrong knowledge of GAAP, inventory accounting, and cost accountingProficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) is a plusStrong attention to detail and analytical thinkingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional teamInterested in hearing more?
