Our client fosters a collaborative and supportive team culture, encouraging professional growth and engagement through regular firm events and open communication.Job *We are seeking a detail-oriented Patent Legal Assistant to support a dynamic intellectual property practice. The ideal candidate will be proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working across multiple client accounts rather than supporting a single attorney. Familiarity with USPTO systems and filing standards is critical for success in this role.Key *Prepare and file U.S. and international patent documents with the USPTODraft and manage client communications and patent prosecution documentsUtilize USPTO platforms such as EFS, EPAS, and PAIRMaintain organization and prioritize multiple assignments efficientlyProactively assist with additional administrative tasks across the firm when needed*1-3 years of experience supporting patent prosecution in a law firm or corporate legal departmentStrong understanding of USPTO electronic filing systems and processesBachelors degree preferred (not required with relevant experience)Comfortable working with a large team of attorneys and timekeepersHigh proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systemsAbility to adapt, learn quickly, and handle a high-volume workloadAdditional *Position is direct hire and starts fully on-siteHybrid work option (3 days in-office) may be offered after approximately 6 monthsStandard background check required prior to startHours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PMImmediate need - quick interview process!****Team-oriented work environment with firm-sponsored social eventsOpportunities for professional development and growthRegular firm-wide updates with leadership communicationsPotential for a flexible work schedule after 6 monthsAddison Group is an equal opportunity employer.
