Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - Food Production Facility (Philadelphia, PA - 2nd Shift)Minimum Requirements & What You BringConduct visual inspections of machinery and equipment for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear.Perform repairs on production and processing equipment.Specialize in troubleshooting and repairing modern automated systems.Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues while adhering to all safety guidelines.Listen for unusual sounds from machines to detect malfunctions and address issues promptly.Work closely with other maintenance technicians and engineering staff to troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures.Dismantle defective machinery and install new or repaired components.Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other mechanical parts.Maintain operational systems, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and ammonia-based equipment.Install and repair electrical apparatus such as transformers, breakers, switches, receptacles, wiring, and electronic components.Repair, replace, and maintain the structural integrity of equipment.Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.Work independently with strong problem-solving skills.Handle material handling equipment regularly.Adapt to a fast-paced work environment with industrial machinery.Work in cold storage conditions"”production areas maintained at 32°F or lower.Physically capable of frequent bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, and reaching with both arms.Lift up to 50 pounds without assistance and frequently push/pull heavier loads.Compensation & BenefitsFull-time hourly positions (3rd shift): $32.00 - $40.00 per hour, based on experience.Weekly payroll via direct deposit.Employee discounts on company products.Daily meal provisions (sliced lunch meats available).Transportation discounts available.Paid time off & holiday pay.
