The position will be responsible for developing the department alongside our current lead application engineer, building out a scalable department, and leading the application of technology and equipment to support the growing aerospace demands.The role *****Programming, operating, and setting up CNC machines, performing machining and milling tasks, and ensuring quality control of the produced components. Using precision DMG MORI 5-axis and multi-axis machines.Daily responsibilities include programming, machine operations, maintaining machinery, and adhering to safety and quality standards. The role demands precise attention to detail and an ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Qualifications and Experience needed. Machine Operation, Machining, and Milling skillsProgramming experience in Solidworks, HSM Works, Fusion 360, Hypermill, and Mastercam.Multi-axis Fanuc NC controller experienceExperience in Quality Control processes ( AS9100 )Polyworks, Keyence, PC Dimis, ZeissCMM ExperienceProficiency in handling and maintaining MachineryStrong understanding of safety protocols and precision in tasksExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work as part of a team.Previous experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.The role involves managing ITAR and export-controlled information.
