Job Description

A rapidly growing healthcare services firm is seeking a Human Resources Director to lead HR strategy and execution across two Northeast locations. The role is ideal for someone from a fast-moving, hands-on environment who can think strategically and act decisively. ***** $130K-$150K base ***** Standard business hours ***** Onsite 3-4 days/week, with travel between locations in Westchester, NY and Passaic County, NJ (approx. once per week). Can be based out of either office. Key ***** Lead and mentor HR Generalists across multiple locations, ensuring alignment with company values and HR best practices Partner with field leadership to build a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous coaching Drive full-cycle recruiting and onboarding processes to support rapid operational growth Oversee employee engagement programs, ensuring alignment with company culture and morale-building efforts Support coaching-based performance management and leadership development across all levels Monitor and enforce HR compliance, workplace investigations, and local policy adherence Champion effective use of HRIS systems, Excel-based reporting, and process improvement tools Provide strategic and tactical HR support to both hourly and salaried populations in a hands-on environment ***** 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in healthcare services, manufacturing, hospitality, or a similarly fast-paced, high-volume industry Proven ability to lead and develop dispersed HR teams Bachelor's degree required Strong background in employee relations, labor compliance, onboarding, and coaching culture development Comfortable working in plant-attached offices with hourly workforces Highly adaptable, able to pivot quickly and handle ambiguity Bilingual Spanish skills strongly preferred Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with HRIS platforms
