A health services agency in New York City is currently seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst (Medical Biller) to join their Revenue Cycle Management team in Queens on a full-time basis. About the **Start * ASAP * Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm OfficeProviding updates and feedback on billing activities to the Director of Revenue Cycle Management,Communicating and resolving interruptions in the revenue cycle that prohibit maximized reimbursementProviding ongoing focus and reporting on claims reprocess improvement and best practiceAnalyzing and addressing billing denials, determining necessary corrections, and resubmissionsDeveloping and maintaining reports, notably denial analysis reports, to identify trends and areas for improvementCommunicating effectively with insurance payers to resolve issues and secure timely paymentsSupporting team members on specific billing systems and processesPerforming other duties, as needed***1+ year of experience in a Billing or a related fieldStrong experience with Denials Management Knowledge of Eligibility and Coordination of BenefitsFamiliarity with Medical Billing software systems, such as Acunetix and Avatar for EHRStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
