We have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Mill Machinist for our 2nd shift operations. This role will be responsible for creating quality parts using CNC machines, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring the production process is efficient and accurate. Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and maintain CNC mill machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc. Understand specifications of the task at hand by interpreting mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function. Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines. Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make necessary adjustments to produce a better result. Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed correctly. Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality. Adhere to all safety protocol, including use of personal protective equipment and ensuring machines are used in a safe, responsible manner.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus. Proven experience as a CNC Mill Machinist with 5+ years of experience. Skilled in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools. Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings. Computer savvy with a detailed understanding of computer-aided design (CAD) software. Mechanical aptitude and good math skills. A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach. Good communication abilities, with a strong understanding of the English language. Knowledge of Fanuc Controls. Proficiency in using Mastercam to create machine programs. Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Able to work independently as well as part of a team. Willingness to work the 2nd shift schedule and overtime as necessary.
