For over 25 years, we've brought a bold and refined approach to construction, specializing in luxury retail, high-end residential, and commercial projects across the U.S. From iconic luxury retail stores to bespoke homes and office spaces, our work is defined by impeccable quality, attention to detail, and collaboration with world-class architects and designers.As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Site Construction Superintendent who thrives in fast-paced environments, leads with precision, and is passionate about bringing ambitious visions to life.Position Overview:The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day construction of all site work from award to project completion, including but not limited to the daily activities of subcontractors and vendors. They will ensure high standards of quality and safety, in a timely and professional manner.High end retail construction experience. Luxury residential construction experience.GC experience is a must.Duties & Responsibilities:Able to read and understand plans, specifications, and scopes of work for all types of retail/residential projects.Review general contract to identify any changes or conflicts that need to be addressed due to scheduling and/or scope of work.Oversee physical construction of project.Able to manage all sub-contractors; track their performance and adherence to schedule.Responsible for all on-site project questions.Responsible for project housekeeping, project safety and enforcing proper PPE on the project.Coordinate with Purchasing Department and Project Team to prepare project schedules, and ensure that all documentation and purchasing will be processed in time to guarantee jobsite arrivals on schedule.Communicate with Project Team to ensure full transparency of project.Prepare daily reports, photo reports, job diaries and other reports as required.Update Procore on a daily basis.Facilitate and manage all toolbox meetings with subcontractors, and communicate all field progress reports with the project team.Oversee quality control to ensure Company and OSHA safety and standards are met.Prepare punch lists and close out projects.Other responsibilities as directed by supervisor.Qualifications:Seven (7) to ten (10) years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experienceSuperintendent License is a plusAll safety related training required (i.e. OSHA 30-hour, OSHA 10-hour, etc)Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailExperience with Sage is a plusExperience with Procore is a plusGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work under pressureAbility to oversee and coordinate a variety of people in different rolesAbility to read, understand, and execute blueprints, drawings and plansThorough understanding of legal requirements relating to construction and building sitesThorough understanding of quality building practicesAbility to quickly identify problems and efficiently solve themProficient in Microsoft Office suiteDemonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals at all levels, both internal and externalPhysical Requirements:Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather.Periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.Michilli, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity EmployerMichilli, Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state of local laws.This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation, and training.
