All candidates must pass a background check and drug screening.Key *Participate in strategic planning and project selection meetingsAttend pre-bid and job walk meetingsAnalyze plans, specs, and geotechnical reports to develop accurate bidsDetermine self-perform vs subcontract scopeSolicit bids from suppliers, subcontractors, and DBE/SBE vendors when applicablePerform or coordinate quantity takeoffs and cost estimatingPropose alternative methods for efficiency and cost-effectivenessPresent estimates in bid reviews with managementCollaborate with project management to transition awarded projectsIdentify high-risk activities and include related safety costs in estimates****5+ years of construction experience, ideally in commercial site grading, paving, and utilities5+ years of heavy civil estimating and bidding experienceFamiliarity with HCSS and AGTEK is preferredStrong ability to read and interpret grading, drainage, foundation, and roadway plansCapable of performing basic takeoffs and analyzing productivity ratesUnderstanding of heavy equipment capabilities and limitationsDetail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiencyExcellent decision-making, time management, and communication skillsExperience in planning, negotiation, and vendor coordinationMust be legally authorized to work in the U.S.If youre ready to take the next step in your career and join a team that values precision, performance, and progress"”we want to hear from you!
