Lost Lantern Spirits, an award-winning independent bottler of American whiskey, is seeking a Vermont-based Sales & Marketing Manager who is an excellent communicator and problem solver, and has an interest in getting to know all about whiskey. Reporting to Lost Lantern's General Manager, this full-time role is based in Vergennes, Vermont, with occasional domestic travel.Job Summary: The Sales + Marketing Manager will work closely with the company founders to execute Lost Lantern's marketing strategy and to promote Lost Lantern throughout Vermont and beyond. The key responsibilities will include managing our social channels, overseeing content creation, designing promotional materials, promoting the Lost Lantern tasting room, building brand awareness with Vermont retailers and bars, and conducting tastings across Vermont. This position will become a key part of our promotional team, and will periodically represent Lost Lantern at whiskey festivals and other events across the country.An ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in sales and/or marketing for a consumer packaged goods company.Job Responsibilities:Build weekly, monthly, and quarterly marketing plansDevelop and implement content strategy including photo and video assetsManage social media including posting and community managementDesign promotional materialsDevelop successful strategies and campaigns to attract new customersHold tastings and sell whiskey to stores and bars throughout VermontExecute against sales targets to grow Lost Lantern reach across VermontOrganize and participate in promotional events including whiskey festivals, retail tastings, and launch eventsQualificationsBachelor's degree with a minimum of 1 year in sales, brand management, or marketingDemonstrated success in developing product-led sales and/or marketing strategiesInnovation and creativity to create new data-driven strategies that attract customersSophisticated understanding of social media and online data metricsCollaborative skills with the ability to incorporate others' ideas into strategiesExcellent time management, organization, and attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient with Google Workspace, Canva, Illustrator, and other applicable softwareSalary: Pay commensurate with experience.
