This is not a sales role"”it's a high-touch service and strategy position focused on long-term client relationships.What You'll Do:Manage a focused book of 10-20 middle to large market accounts, totaling $1M-$1.5M in revenueOversee client portfolios with $750K-$1M average premium per accountLead renewals, coverage reviews, and client communications for high-complexity, low-volume booksServe as a technical resource and strategic partner to both clients and producersNavigate complex accounts within real estate, construction, and related sectorsUse Applied EPIC or similar agency systems to maintain accurate documentationWork Environment:Hybrid schedule: 2 anchor days (Tuesday and Thursday) in the Walnut Creek office, with flexibility and 3 remote daysCulture that prioritizes development, mentorship, and long-term growthPart of a respected brokerage group with about 50 employees and a long-standing client baseStructured onboarding with clear expectations and room to growWhat You Bring:7-10+ years of Commercial Lines account management experience, ideally with real estate and development clientsExperience handling mid-to-large premium accounts, not small business or high-volume renewal workStrong attention to detail, client-facing professionalism, and ability to manage complex risk profilesBackground from larger brokerages welcome, but open to professionals from smaller firms with the right skill setP&C license not required, but bonus is provided if already heldBachelors degree not required; assessments and interviews will be part of the evaluation processIf youre looking to join a team that values experience, client depth, and professional growth over volume, this may be the right step forward.
