SummaryOzanne Construction is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager (PM) to lead the successful execution of large commercial construction projects. The PM will be responsible for delivering the project on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. Acting as the primary liaison with the Owner, the PM will oversee all project activities from preconstruction through closeout, managing internal teams, subcontractors, and external consultants. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills, along with a deep understanding of construction operations and risk management. This position will split time between the field and office, with frequent site visits and potential full-time site presence based on project needs.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for the Owner, managing all business and contractual matters.Lead the project team"”including Superintendents, Engineers, and Coordinators"”to ensure alignment with schedule, budget, safety, and quality goals.Establish, manage, and enforce project schedules and milestone deadlines; hold all stakeholders accountable.Prepare and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and monthly profit and loss reports.Lead all project meetings, including OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) and subcontractor coordination meetings.Negotiate and administer subcontracts and material purchase agreements.Identify and manage project risks; proactively develop and implement mitigation strategies.Drive change order processes, ensuring accurate pricing, documentation, and Owner approval.Maintain high client satisfaction through consistent communication, transparency, and responsiveness.Promote a collaborative team culture that values creative problem-solving and continuous improvement.Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.Perform other duties as assigned.Required Skills & AbilitiesStrong leadership presence and ability to build trust with clients, team members, and partners.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; able to effectively present to diverse audiences.Proficiency in project scheduling, cost control, and construction accounting principles.Strong understanding of construction contracts, legal exposure, and dispute resolution.Working knowledge of industry-standard software platforms (e.g., Procore, Primavera, MS Project).Ability to manage up and communicate proactively with senior leadership.Commitment to upholding Ozanne Construction's values of integrity, accountability, and service.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in commercial construction project management.Experience managing at least one project of $15MM+ in value preferred.Relevant industry certifications (e.g., PE, PMP, OSHA 30, LEED AP, CCM) are a plus.Demonstrated success delivering projects on time, within budget, and with high client satisfaction.
