-Hybrid position in Berkeley Heights, NJ-6+ months contract to hirePosition **Our client is looking for a Business Analyst to join our expanding Operations team. In this role you will be interacting with a variety of business partners to support the requirements, design and development of best-in-class digital underwriting products and self-service solutions.Job *• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and develop detailed business requirements that support digital platform development and implementation.• Support project management team to support analysis and review of product artifacts• Design, execute and maintain detailed test plans and test cases based on defined business requirements.• Perform user acceptance testing, identify and report system defects and ensure all systems meet our business requirements.• Translate identified defects into actionable items and collaborate with subject matter experts, developers, product managers to resolve noted defects.• Provide status updates and reports on UAT progress, issues, and results to project managers.• Ability to perform gap analysis of current and future state to ensure requirements result in optimized solutions.• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Specialty Program Groups strategic internal and external facing systems.• Work closely with UAT participants to define and understand all testing objectives and anticipated outcomes.• Build relationships with IT, Operation teams and other departments within the organization.Position ***• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience• 5+ years Operations Property Casualty insurance experience with a carrier or MGA• Experience in the insurance industry, particularly in rating, policy administration, claims processing, or underwriting.• Proven experience in scoping Insurance product or IT system implementations.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools.• Strong organizational and time management skills.Corp to corp will not considered*
