UrbanBuilt, a Mid-Atlantic General Contracting company headquartered in the Baltimore metro area, is looking to recruit a new Project Manager. As a general contracting company, we specialize in residential and commercial renovations and new construction. We are a young, fast-paced, growing company and offer our employees the opportunity to continue their career growth through training and new job opportunities.Position Summary: To successfully plan, staff, implement, control and evaluate residential and commercial construction projects.Responsibilities:Subcontractor and Vendor BuyoutPreparing and updating Project SchedulesPreparation and tracking of submittalsAttend and lead project progress meetingsPrepare and disseminate weekly project progress reportsWork with clients on production progress, open issues, change orders, and materials selectionsPreparation and tracking of Change Orders (Client and Subcontract)Assist in oversight of company Safety ProgramAssist in oversight of project quality controlMaintain control and oversight of project budgetsPosition Skills/Qualification Requirements:A minimum of an Associate's Degree preferably in construction management or a business concentration.Must have 5-7 years experience in construction project supervision and/or management for commercial and residential projects above $250,000 in value.Must be able to manage a team, work well with others, and adhere to management directives.Strong skills in organizing, planning, and implementing project controls to meet strict deadlines.Must have strong communication skills including speaking and writing professionally.Must have strong computer skills and able to use all programs in Microsoft Office.
