Wood, Gas, Pellet and Electric Fireplaces.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Fireplace Technician at Mr. Sweeps Fireplaces located in Ames, IA. The Fireplace Technician will be responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and repairing various types of fireplaces and chimneys. They will also perform maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the safety and efficiency of the fireplace installations.QualificationsExperience in fireplace inspection, cleaning, and repairKnowledge of different types of fireplaces and chimneysLicense to install gas a plus but not mandatoryGeneral Construction ability a plusOrganizational skills is requiredAbility to troubleshoot technical issuesExcellent problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of safety regulations and standardsPhysical stamina and strength for lifting and working in various conditionsCertifications in fireplace maintenance and repair are a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent
