Conservation Legacy aims to foster environmental stewardship, support sustainable community development, and promote diversity and inclusion through its programs.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for an Outdoor Opportunity Youth Coordinator based in Beckley, WV, with some work from home flexibility. The Youth Coordinator will be responsible for designing and implementing youth-focused outdoor programs, engaging and mentoring youth participants, and ensuring the success of youth development initiatives. Daily tasks include planning, coordinating, and executing outdoor activities, maintaining effective communication with participants and stakeholders, and providing educational support and resources. The candidate will develop curriculum for use in the school system and will create an outdoor adventure club for middle school students. QualificationsSkills in Youth Engagement, Youth Programs, and Youth DevelopmentStrong Communication and Education skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience in outdoor education or environmental stewardship is a plusExcellent organizational and time management skillsBachelors degree in Education, Social Work, Environmental Science, or related field preferred but not required.Valid drivers license and ability to pass a background check
