This role will act as a key participant on the OCM team for the SAP implementation as well as other Tech programs. This role will be responsible for facilitating engagement activities, ensuring clear communication, and fostering alignment across teams. The ideal candidate will have expertise in change management, communication strategy, and cultural transformation within project environments. The OCM Specialist partners with Wakefern leadership, Business Process Owners and the Transformation Office to adapt proven practices in change management to align with program goals and the organizational environment. As a key participant in the OCM Workstream will be responsible for the communication plan and execution and facilitating the change agent network. Successful execution of the change management strategy to cultural changes for the organization will transition the workforce into new ways of working and will drive adoption and sustainability of the new technology and process improvements for Wakefern associates. Essential Functions The core functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:Facilitates all engagement activities (e.g., Change Agent Network, administers surveys, analyzes and presents data, drives internal team engagement activities)Coordinates the design, development, and implementation of defined change management, communication and training programs.Partners with the rest of the OCM team on delivering the OCM strategy. This may include the OCM Leads, training lead and HR.Creates and manages the communication strategy and plan for identified impacted groups within the organization and creates two-way communication channels. Collaborates with Corporate Communications and executive sponsors to raise awareness and educate on program related changes for specific target audiences.Creates tailored communications for the project including presentations, emails, newsletters, etc. Creates various presentations and updates that are leveraged for status updates and conversations with the outside business. Identifies and documents changes resulting from program design; actively works with project leads to validate these changes and understand the impact to the stakeholder group involved in the change. Information is collected in a Change Impact Assessment, which is used to define communications and training to the impacted groups.Partners with the business lead team to capture process changes and new ways of working across the organization. Utilizes this information to educate the associates on new ways of working and process changes.Drives leadership alignment through program guiding principles, vision and goals. Prepares leaders to help manage their teams through the change with workshops and communication guides.Creates and manages the successful execution of a Wakefern Change Agent and Member Change Agent Task Forces and related materials, to support the program communication strategy and drive stakeholder engagement.Partners with project leads to co-manage the Super User Network to support end user adoption and sustainability.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Communications or related field required. Must have at least 5-7 years of experience in an organizational change management role, with a thorough understanding of change management methodologies or a solid understanding of Wakefern and/or industry best practices with respect to business process design.Management Consulting experience preferredChange Management practitioner certification a plus (i.e., Prosci).Business Process experience a plusCredible proficiency in applying and implementing OCM disciplines (e.g., change strategy, sponsor and change advocate development, strategic communications, learning and development, resistance management, change sustainability) within a transformation Clearly demonstrated ability to engage key executive sponsors and stakeholders to help drive successful adoption by the business.Exceptional written and oral communication skills, able to synthesize information and tailor communication style and content for a variety of audiences.Comfortable and confident presenting to all levels of the organization, including executives and membership.Demonstrates initiative and performs autonomously while supporting enterprise-level organizational projects and programs.Ability to work effectively, utilize excellent active listening skills and collaborate across divisions, functions, cultures and levels both internally and externally.Ability to participate and work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively manage a team of Wakefern associates and third-party consultants.
