Job DescriptionThe Production Supervisor ensures that our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently for a designated production area, engaging team members in the work, providing guidance, coaching & feedback, and support to achieve goals. This role requires a dynamic leader who is passionate about motivating and developing employees, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring operational excellence.Key Responsibilities **Lead, coach, and develop an engaged team focused on accomplishing goals and continuous improvementCreate an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and teamworkSupport safety as a top priority by maintaining a safe and clean work environmentMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs), utilize visual management and manage the associated improvement activities to accomplish department goalsMaintain quality services by establishing and supporting organizational standardsBuild good relationships with internal and external customersMaintain staffing by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employeesPreferred Qualifications **Associate degree or equivalent experience requiredBachelors degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field is a plus!3+ years of supervisor experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferredStrong leadership and team management skillsKnowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standardsStrong problem solving and decision-making abilitiesCommitment to continuous improvement and experience with/knowledge of lean manufacturingProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Experience using an ERP System (Oracle, SAP, Epicor)This position is located on-site at our Sedalia, Missouri facility.
