Position **Employbridge is currently seeking a Controls Engineer to support and enhance our manufacturing automation systems. This role will be responsible for programming and troubleshooting PLCs, robotic welders, HMI interfaces, vision systems, and 3-phase motor controls. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting both current production needs and future automation projects.Key *Develop, program, and modify projection and robotic weldersCreate and troubleshoot PLC ladder logic using Direct Logic, Productivity, and Allen Bradley platformsConfigure and maintain HMI systems (Allen Bradley, C-more, and C-more Micro)Work with camera systems and sensors, including Omron, Keyence, and CognexProgram and support ABB robotic controls for current production and future integrationTroubleshoot and maintain 3-phase motor control systemsAssist in the design, fabrication, and integration of new equipment and automation systemsSupport continuous improvement initiatives and corrective actionsPerform predictive and preventive maintenance risk assessmentsInterpret blueprints, schematics, and AutoCAD drawingsEnsure adherence to all Lockout/Tagout and safety protocols****3-10+ years of relevant experience in industrial automation or controls engineeringStrong proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshootingExperience with ABB robotics is highly preferredFamiliarity with HMI development and configurationHands-on experience with industrial sensors and vision systemsAbility to read and interpret schematics, electrical drawings, and technical manualsWorking knowledge of AutoCADStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication and team collaboration abilitiesWhy Us?Competitive hourly pay based on experienceDay-shift schedule with weekends offGrowth-oriented company with investment in automation and technologyTeam-oriented work environment focused on innovation and continuous improvem
