Responsibilities· Program PLC and HMI systems· Design and build control panels to UL standards· Document panels and systems using AutoCAD· Install, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC based control systems and HMI's· Install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial instrumentation· Install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial motor controls and VFD's· Install and terminate I/O wiring, cables, fiber optics, and communications cablingRequirements & Qualifications· Job requires travel- travel can be significant at times· Must be a journeyman electrician or have a degree in instrumentation· Must have experience with VFD's· Must be Proficient with computers, Windows, and communications· Must be capable of working productively with minimal supervision· Must be in good physical condition- work can be demanding at times· Must be capable of adjusting to customer's scheduling needs with little or no notice· Must have strong communication skills
