Job SummaryUnder the direction of the shift supervisor, the Production Technician I works on the ThermaCareproduction line at the Angelini Albany location. The position is accountable for executingoperational steps on batches of commercial products and following instructions defined inapplicable safety policies, procedures, and batch production records. The Tech I must follow theinstruction of the supervisor and/or Line Leader. The operating activities include, but are notlimited to: cleaning, loading and setting up raw material splices, and troubleshooting theequipment and processes at a very basic level within a designated work area.RoleTechnician I position is an entry level position for someone who is gaining knowledge andexperience with multiple pieces of equipment. This position is expected to perform multipleroutine and non-routine tasks.This job is scheduled on a rotating 12-hour work shift.Specific ResponsibilitiesApply safety policies and GMP knowledge in daily operations involving self and other team members (i.e. PPE use, housekeeping, good documentation practices, cross batch prevention, etc.).Expected to have general knowledge of basic functions for operating manufacturing equipment.Perform setup of selected equipment.Perform all necessary entries for consumption of raw materials.Perform necessary process checks and enter it into a validated system.Perform cleaning of equipment and general area as per respective SOPs.Perform Operator Care functions.As required, perform the necessary Clean and Lube standards to the equipment and enter the shiftily centerlines that are required for the area.Perform basic troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment and processes.Participates actively in process improvements projects.Exhibit Angelini Pharma's values and work in a team environment to accomplish individual and team goals in the manufacturing and commercial production process.Exercise judgment to complete assigned tasks, follows instructions of the Supervisor and Line Leader, and operates under the direction of the Supervisor.Adheres to common Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in the execution of the work schedule and operational support.Performs other tasks and special assignments as requested by management.Professional ProfileQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED, required.Two to Three years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.Working knowledge of GMPs and SOPs.Basic Math and computer skills.Problem solving skills (problem identification, analysis, creativity, application of corrective action).Interpersonal skills that are compatible in an environment of teamwork.Good verbal and written communication skills.Some heavy lifting may be required periodically.Physical Skills: Operating facility is composed of multiple levels and confined spaces.Able to follow instructions without strict supervision.About Us: Angelini is a medium size private international group, a leader in health andwellness in the field of pharmaceutical and consumer products.
