We strive to bring clarity to business processes and insights into business decisions to improve operational efficiencies and performance profitability for our clients.Position SummaryThe Senior Project Controls/Data Analyst is tasked with leading and overseeing a variety of Capital and Infrastructure projects across different project controls disciplines. The ideal candidate should possess strong skills in project planning, scheduling, cost estimation, monitoring, progress measurement, risk management, and reporting.This role involves establishing operational policies and controls to identify, monitor, and mitigate risk factors that could affect project success. Additionally, the Senior Project Controls Analyst will support the Clarisight Executive team with ad-hoc projects. This includes conducting assessment reports for various clients to identify and benchmark project controls and project management maturity and preparing roadmaps for improvement opportunities and implementation.Job ResponsibilitiesLeadership:• Provide daily support to the assigned team members, including training and development, work product review and approval, and team management.• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to integrate project controls into project management processes.• Offer training and guidance to project teams on project controls best practices.• Lead the project controls team in resolving program issues and problems.Project Planning and Scheduling:• Develop and maintain project schedules.• Work with project teams to create realistic project timelines and milestones.• Monitor progress against schedules, identify delays, articulate the budget impacts of schedule shifts, and implement corrective actions as needed.Financial:• Oversee the full life cycle of contract support, including contract startup, revenue recognition, cost management, estimates at completion, monthly forecasting, invoice review, monthly financial status reports, variance analysis, and invoice preparation.Risk Management:• Identify and assess project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.• Regularly update risk registers and communicate potential risks to project stakeholders.• Assists in the development of recommended recovery measures for projects behind schedule and/or over budget.Change Control:• Manage the change control process to evaluate and implement project changes while minimizing disruptions.• Assess the impact of scope changes on schedule and budget and communicate these impacts to stakeholders.Performance Reporting and KPIs:• Prepare and deliver regular project performance reports to project stakeholders and senior management.• Analyze project data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.• Provide support for data analysis, data validation & data mining efforts required to refine benchmark• Gather information and prepare reports and presentations of information as needed on the project• Other projects or duties as assignedQualifications• 5-10 years of experience in business operations, project controls, business planning, accounting, finance, construction management or project management• Project Controls experience with large capital projects• Experience with appropriate software tools, e.g., ProCore, Deltek, Aconyx, HCSS, P6 (Primavera), MS Excel etc.• Experience with project budgets, forecasts, cost tracking, reporting, and change management• Competency in interpreting and applying understanding of key financial indicators to make better business decisions.• Competency in making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.EEO/AA Employer M/F/D/VClarisight Consulting is an equal opportunity employer with a culture that promotes diversity in the workforce.
