They will play a crucial role in keeping floors aesthetically pleasing and free from harmful microorganisms.****: Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.: Use floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and other equipment to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors.: Remove spots from carpets and perform bonnet and extraction carpet cleaning.: Dispose of trash and assist with hazardous waste collection.: Operate floor sweepers, buffers, strippers, canister vacuum cleaners, and shop vacuums.: Wear adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) when working with chemicals and equipment.: Protect patients and visitors by keeping floors free from harmful microorganisms.: Keep an inventory of floor areas and schedule cleaning and maintenance duties.: Report maintenance issues to the supervisor.: Assist with hazardous waste collection as requested.
