Job Title: Talent Management CoordinatorPay Rate: $20–$22/hour (W2)Type: Temp-to-HireLocation: La Verne, CA 91750 (On-site)OverviewThe client is seeking a highly organized and service-driven Talent Management Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. In this dynamic role, you’ll support recruitment, onboarding, and student employment operations, ensuring a seamless experience for both student employees and hiring departments. Your work will directly support the clients mission to attract, develop, and retain top student talent for on- and off-campus opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Employment CoordinationManage full-cycle student employment processes: recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and offboardingReview, approve, and post job descriptionsConduct new student employee orientations (in-person and virtual)Guide hiring departments through compliant and efficient hiring practicesEnsure all I-9s, tax forms, and employment documents are completed and filed properlyMaintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and university guidelinesCollaboration & SupportWork closely with Financial Aid to monitor Federal Work Study allocations and policy changesCoordinate with the Career Center and Community Engagement Office to expand off-campus job opportunitiesServe as the HR contact for Live Scan background checksSupport Talent Management Specialist and serve as backup for university-wide I-9 and hiring supportPayroll & Data EntryMaintain timecard systems (Kronos), troubleshoot payroll discrepancies, and audit dataAccurately enter and update HRIS records for student workersSupport payroll in timely and accurate processing each cycleEngagement & OutreachOrganize student employment engagement activities, including Student Employee of the YearDevelop training materials, supervisor tutorials, and updated handbooksHelp modernize and elevate the student employment brand through outreach and optional social media engagementQualificationsRequired Experience3+ years in Human Resources, Career Services, Student Affairs, or related fields3+ years with recruitment, employment processing, or payroll data entry2+ years conducting new hire orientationsWorking knowledge of Federal Work Study program guidelinesSkills & AttributesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExceptional organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across departmentsHigh level of confidentiality and professionalismProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPointPreferred QualificationsBachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related fieldPrior experience in higher education or student employment servicesExperience managing student-focused social media engagementEQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY STATEMENT:Suna Solutions provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation, and training.Applicants, with criminal histories, are considered in a manner that is consistent with local, state, and federal laws.REQUESTING AN ACCOMODATIONSuna Solutions is committed to providing equal employment opportunities for persons with disabilities or religious observances, including reasonable accommodation when needed.
