From engines and transmissions to brakes and electrical systems, your work ensures the fleet stays road-ready and reliable. Youll also play a key role in regular maintenance and inspections that help prevent breakdowns and keep operations running smoothly.Responsibilities **Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks, including engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical systemsPerform regular maintenance tasks and thorough vehicle inspectionsUse diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint issuesConduct basic welding (Oxy/Acetylene, MIG, ARC) when necessaryMaintain accurate and detailed service recordsCommunicate clearly with service writers and customers when neededFollow safety guidelines and instructionsOccasionally lift and move equipment over 50 poundsRequirements and *Minimum of 3 years experience as a truck mechanic or in a similar roleExperience diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty diesel trucksFamiliarity with diagnostic tools and mechanical equipmentStrong mechanical skills and attention to detailValid drivers licenseBasic welding abilityTeam player with the ability to work independentlyCDL or ASE certifications are a plus, but not requiredUnderstanding and compliance with specific instructions, guidelines, and safety policiesAbout the Hiring ****Our client is dedicated to keeping the commercial trucking world moving.
