Maintenance EngineerPortland, OR (Onsite)Fulltime OpportunityKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExperience maintaining boilers, air compressors, condensers, glycol systems, cooling towers, and wastewaterExperience troubleshooting and repairing electrical motors and controls (VFD experience a must)Experience troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systemsExperience maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical systems – Fans, conveyors, gearboxes, etc.Experience troubleshooting fluid process equipment including pumps, valves, etc.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics and equipment manualsAble to lift 50 lbs. routinely / frequently and be able to sit, stand or climb or walk for long hrsUnderstanding and experience of preventive maintenance. Experience with CMMS programs preferredDemonstrated ability to plan, organize and maintain equipment and recordsStrong team/verbal/written skills are required. Demonstrated ability to be a Team PlayerMust be available to work any shift including nights, weekends, holidays.Education, Experience and CertificationsFamiliarity with MS Office suite and applications, ability to utilize electronic communication effectively3-5 years of manufacturing maintenance, millwright, or other closely related experience3+ years of mechanical/electrical maintenance, OR instrumentation certificationExperience ***** PLC’s, controls instrumentation and panel arc flash rating level PPE requirementsFormal education in a related field
