In addition, this individual will document repairs, perform safety checks and preventive measures. Job Requirements Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience Required: 3 years of experience in clinical or technical field Skills Has ability & knowledge base for use of common hand tools Demonstrate Ability to learn basic soldering and desoldering skills Demonstrate Ability to learn basic knowledge of environmental testing of Culture and Colony, Water Analysis, and LAL. Demonstrate Ability to learn basic knowledge of electronic theory and basic safety procedures Learn and appropriately utilize all required computer applications, including but not limited to E-mail, medical equipment management software and inventory tracking software. Demonstrate the ability to communicate ideas clearly both orally and in writing to hospital staff, vendors, patients and patient’s families. Ability to utilize manufacturer’s service and operators manuals and other documentation Licensure/Certification/Registration Required: Must satisfactorily complete technical training within 2 years of employment to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair dialysis equipment
