PCB Designer - Aerospace and DefenseIngenium Technologies***** Rochester, NY - relocation available, remote work from home is not available.Additional Job **" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Our client is seeking a PCB Designer with a background in schematics, materials, fabrication, assembly, and related design and simulation software tools to join their team in Rochester, NY. Responsibilities will include but not be limited *Utilize Mentor PADS layout software to incorporate schematic, mechanical, and manufacturing inputs into new and revised PCB designs.Collaborate with the cross-functional design team to resolve fabrication, assembly, and test issues identified through fabrication and manufacturing checks.Create standard and complex PCB layouts leveraging design methodologies by board technology, e.g., RF, digital, analog, power supply.Create and update design files and documentation to incorporate changes to schematic, BOMs, detail drawings, etc., maintaining proper PLM file structure.Create PCB stackups and model controlled impedance.Perform peer reviews of complex PCB layout designs.Create and maintain PCB layout design guidelines.Support the assessment and implementation of new and upgraded PCB design software.Create and improve checklists and procedures associate with the PCB layout design process.Required **** PADS, Xpedition, Cadence, Valor, etc.Required **5-15 years prior related PCB Design experience.Knowledge of the PCB design value ** schematics, materials, fabrication, assembly, and related design and simulation software toolsKnowledge of SMT and through-hole electronic components and packagesExperience working directly with multiple engineering disciplines and functions, e.g., electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, supply chain, purchasing, etc.Experience working with a PLM tool, e.g., Agile, Teamcenter, etc.Required ** Bachelor of Science Degree preferred, not required Direct Hire 5% domestic and international required Highly Competitive with Benefits Rochester, NY - Relocation is Available.Employment ** This position includes access or potential access to ITAR technical data.
