You will play a key role in elevating guest satisfaction, controlling costs, and ensuring culinary standards align with brand goals. This position reports to the Executive Sous Chef.Key Performance ObjectivesDeliver Consistently Excellent Culinary ExperiencesExecute high-quality meals in accordance with recipes and guest preferences, maintaining strong presentation and taste standards.Drive Operational EfficiencyOversee food cost, waste, inventory, and production workflows to meet or exceed profitability targets while minimizing downtime and product loss.Develop and Lead High-Performing TeamsProvide hands-on coaching and training for kitchen staff to improve skills, maintain high morale, and support internal growth.Ensure Compliance and Safety StandardsMonitor food handling practices and kitchen operations to ensure strict adherence to ServSafe guidelines and cleanliness standards.Support Strategic GoalsAnalyze kitchen performance metrics, anticipate trends, and implement innovative solutions to align with evolving business objectives.Adapt to Business NeedsMaintain flexibility and responsiveness in a dynamic environment, including adjusting priorities based on volume, guest feedback, and staffing.Qualifications & ExperienceFormal culinary training from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.Current ServSafe Certification required.Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef de Cuisine in a high-volume casino/resort, hotel, or major restaurant chain.Proven ability to lead a team, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high performance under pressure.Strong analytical skills to assess trends and drive continuous improvement.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.
